About Romance 101
Romance 101 originally began back in 1992 as a free workshop conducted around Valentine's Day by Jon Sternoff, a college student at the University of Washington. His goal was to teach anyone who would listen that a romantic lives within us all. All we need to bring this romantic out is that right bit of inspiration.
He was eventually invited to conduct this workshop at various universities and conferences acrossthe country. As word got out, every session became larger then the last , and there were never enough information packets at workshop to go around. So Jon began to post much of the romance workshop packet online using his university web account.
Just as attendance grew over time, so did the online and offline packet used in the workshop. It started at about 30 pages and soon grew to 100 plus. Eventually the packet grew to large to be printed out and was only available online.
Each month since going online back in 1993, Jon has endevored to add at least 10 new pages. A few years ago, as Jon graduated from College, Romance 101 migrated to it's new home at www.rom101.com.
There have been many design changes to Romance 101 over the years, but each design has always tried to keep the learning look and feel.
The current version of Romance 101 contains over 1000 pages of content and receives over 1 million views monthly. Over the years Jon had made sure that Romance 101 keeps to it starting principles...to remain free of charge, and keep inspiring...
