The Meaning of Love

In scientific terms

Iris Murdoch wrote, 'Love is the difficult realization that something other than oneself is real.' But apparently she never read the journal Psychoneuroendocrinology.

If you want to know how Psychoneuroendocrinology defines love, it's: 'Vaginocervical sensory pathways to the brain that can produce analgesia, release oxytocin, and/or bypass the spinal cord via the vagus nerve.'

This is clearly the origin of the romantic phrase, 'You've got a lot of nerve, you creep!'
